Getting around Vancouver
Travel by Transit
Vancouver has a robust transit system with an automated light rail train and frequent bus stops and schedules servicing both outlying communities and the downtown core. The Vancouver Convention & Exhibition Centre (VCEC) is located at the Waterfront Skytrain Station. Visit the Translink website for more information about transit routes, fares and schedules.
Getting around Downtown
- Walking: The VCEC is within walking distance of many downtown locations. Plan your trip by foot using this Tourism Vancouver map (Note: the VCEC is L5 on this map)
- Biking: There are numerous dedicated bike lanes on several streets and avenues in downtown Vancouver. There are also several bike lock-up racks on the Cruise Ship level of Canada Place. Plan your trip by bicycle using this City of Vancouver tool.
